Beginings...

Alright. So… I, like quite a few others, have been super inspired by the Kendi Everyday 30 for 30 Challenge. The basics of the Challenge are:

* Choose 30 items (including shoes, not including accessories) from your wardrobe

* For 30 days wear only the 30 selected items, remixing them in an attempt to use all 30.

And the big one…

* No shopping for 30 days!

This is the part of the challenge that has really peaked my interest. I have done self set shopping challenges in the past but, they were never much fun! I am sure you can imagine why. The thought of sharing my experience with others has such appeal. I cannot wait to see everyone’s creativity at work!

30 for 30 Items

After thinking about it for a couple of days I finally chose my 30 pieces. I am a big dress wearer and I was trying to avoid on the one hand having 15 dresses and 5 cardigans and just cycling through them for most of my work days and, on the other hand choosing a bunch of items that were so completely out of my usual comfort zone that I would be miserable for a month. I settled on doing quite a few dresses but mixing it up with some skirts, tops and a couple pairs of pants.
